Photos of Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and Z5 Premium before Sept. 2 launch event

Fresh images of the Sony Xperia Z5, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact and the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium have surfaced hours before the IFA 2015 launch event that will be held today. In the recent past, the entire specs of the upcoming Xperia Z5 handsets have been revealed through GFXBench benchmarks and several leaks.

According to Xperia Blog, the newly leaked photos are production samples of the Xperia Z5 models. One of the images show that a XPERIA logo is imprinted one of its edges and the other side contains volume rocker, camera and power keys.

The Xperia Z5 with model number E663 will be featuring a 5.2-inch display that will support full HD resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 810 chipset that produces 1.9 GHz processing speed through its octa-core processor along with Adreno 430 graphics, Phone Arena reported.

The chipset will be coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It comes with inbuilt storage of 32 GB. The rear camera of the Xperia Z5 will come with 23 MP camera and a selfie shooter of 5 MP.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact (E5823) will be coming with a smaller 4.6-inch display that offers HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The same SD 810 chip powers the handset along with 2 GB of RAM.

The native storage of the handset is 32 GB. The rear houses a 32 GB and the front-facing camera is of 8 MP.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a 5.5-inch display that support 4K resolution with a high pixel count of 800 ppi. The rest of the configuration will be same as that of its other Xperia Z5 siblings.

All the three handsets will be coming with fingerprint scanner embedded on the power button. Even the details on the battery of the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium are unavailable, speculations indicate they will be offering around two days of battery life, GSM Arena reported.
