'Pirates Of The Caribbean 5' Leaked Photo Plus Johnny Depp Injury Update
A new image of a ship full of cast members dressed as British soldiers in “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” has surfaced online. Meanwhile, the lead star of the movie, Johnny Depp, reportedly flew back to Los Angeles after an injury. The filming for the movie, however, continues. [Warning: Spoilers Alert]
The past leaks from the production sets of “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” have revealed a regular pirate ship and a ship with golden statues on one end of the ship. A new leaked image from the set shows what appears to be the ship belonging to the British navy.
British soldiers and the navy have always been an important part of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. A new leaked image, posted by on the social media website Twitter, shows the cast and crew members filming a scene onboard a ship.
The image reveals many cast members dressed as British soldiers and a man dressed in a dark coat. He appears to be the captain on the ship. The faces of the cast members are not clear and the presence of some, or any popular cast members of “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” on this set can’t be verified.
The production set of the ship has been placed against a backdrop of a blue screen. The screen will be used to add special effects later on in the filming process. The effect of the wind blowing at the seas is being created by the large fans that viewers can see in the picture.
A few canons and a large sail also feature in the picture from the production set of “Pirates of the Caribbean 5.” The ships seen in the previously leaked images from the set did not have a sail. The production of the movie appears to be continuing even after the reported injury of cast member Johnny Depp.
The actor was spotted at the Brisbane airport with an injured hand by 9News. Johnny Depp is said to have boarded a private plane to Los Angeles. The actor is expected to be away from the production set for at least two weeks to undergo surgery.
The cause of Johnny Depp’s injury is still not clear. International Business Times, Australia has contacted Disney for comments on the incident and a response is awaited. Responding to a question about the incident on Twitter, cast member Martin Klebba said that he has not heard anything about it.
Martin Klebba will be reprising his role as Marty in “Pirates of the Caribbean 5.” He will be joined by Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner, Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa and Kevin McNally as Gibbs.
