'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales': Johnny Depp Suffers Injury, Scenes Around Captain Jack Sparrow Will Be Shot
Johnny Depp who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” injured his hand on the sets of the film in Australia. The actor is reportedly flying back to U.S to have a surgery. It is not yet known how the actor bruised his hand.
According to Variety, till Johnny resumes filming, scenes around his character will be shot. His injury will reportedly have “minimal” impact on the film’s production, according to a spokesperson for the production, as reported by Hollywood Reporter. Interestingly, this is not the only unfortunate event, which has taken place on the sets of the film. Much recently, a man dressed as pirate invaded the sets of the film.
According to MTV, he allegedly threatened the security staff of the film with a knife. The man was reportedly dressed like Captain Jack Sparrow. As per the image released by the police, the man wore heavy eye make-up and was a dressed in a black vest, reported 9News. He also had a parrot on his shoulder. His girlfriend Jesse has revealed that the man is “peace-loving.” “A mate of mine told us to come down and check it out, to get extra work as pirates because he does actually look like a pirate, it’s quite awesome,” she added.
Meanwhile, the production of “Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” began last month. The film will follow the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow. It will introduce an old enemy of Jack Sparrow, Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) who will come with the mission to kill the existing pirates. Jack will look for a trident of Poseidon, which will give him a complete control over the seas.
Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning are directing the film and the screenplay of the film has been written by Jeff Nathanson. The star cast of the film consists of Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally, Stephen Graham, Javier Bardem Kaya Scodelario Brenton Thwaites Martin Klebba and Adam Brown. The film is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2017 and is the fifth instalment in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” film series.
