‘Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire’ Demo Details Revealed As Australia Gets New Nintendo 3DS Consoles
Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are giving fans more ways to enjoy playing the "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" when it releases on Nov. 21 and Nov. 28 in North America and Europe respectively. New bundles have been announced not just for the new Pokemon title but also for the Nintendo 3DS lineup.
Serebii, trusted source for Pokemon-related updates, has listed new findings for the Nintendo console coming to Europe. First, there is a special Nintendo 2DS bundle that will carry the Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre theme. A screenshot of the "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" Nintendo bundles can be seen here.
According to the report, the console can be purchased ahead of the game's release on Nov. 7 but it won't have the Pokemon name. It will also be out on Nov. 28, which is the same release date in Europe as the game.
Players in the U.K. area can also look forward to confirmed dates for the "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" Special Demo Version is coming as early as Oct. 15 to last until the launch date. Serebii adds that this will be available via GAME, ShopTo, Amazon, the Nintendo UK Official Store and Smyth Toys Superstores.
Other areas and release dates of the demo have also been revealed for other areas. In Belgium, it can be obtained at the F.A.C.T.S festival on Oct. 18 to 19. Those in Portugal can access the demo at IBERANIME OPO 2014, FNAC, El Corte Ingles, Media Markt and Libson Comic Con on Oct. 15.
France has a variety of dates and venues to get the demo. The first is through the Paris Games Week, with codes being distributed from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2. There are also unannounced events that will run from Oct. 15, with details expected to hit later on.
Apart from confirmed demos, Australia will also be getting the new 3DS systems, as confirmed in the Nintendo Direct Australia, which is also the first for the region. Videogamer reports that these devices coming to Australia are not bound by region-locking, at least for U.K. games. This means that these can play games that you purchased or will purchase in the U.K.
The pricing has already been revealed, with the Nintendo 3DS getting a AUD$219.95 price tag, while the Nintendo 3DS XL will cost AUD$249.95.
