Quick reference guide for egg groups
Another Reddit product, this time from dpitch40 has emerged, detailing the connections and navigation guides for the different egg groups that can be found in Pokemon X and Y.
As defined by one Redditor, LinCereal, an egg group contains different Pokemons that can breed with each other. This means that those together in one group can breed, while those from a different egg group cannot breed with Pokemons who are part of a different egg group in Pokemon X and Y.
The catch is that there are some Pokemons from Pokemon X and Y that are in more than one egg group, and this distinct characteristic is the key to the reference chart. The Pokemon that belongs to more than one egg group can be a bridge between the groups.

"It's useful because sometimes Pokemon can learn egg moves that aren't actually learned by any Pokemon in the same egg group as them, but can be bred into those Pokemon from a Pokemon in a different egg group," said LinCereal.

Rating Battles offline--potential nod to Instacheck hack?
If you participate in the Pokemon X and Y Rating Battles, you may be disappointed to learn that Nintendo has recently taken the feature for a while.
According to Nintendo Insider, the temporary ban will be seen in the error message that players may receive over the few days of trying to gain access to Pokemon X and Y Rating Battles.
"If you try to participate in Rating Battles in your game, you should receive the following error code: 004-3003. Please continue to check the Pokemon Global Link and the official Pokemon website for updates about when Rating Battles will be available again. We apologise for the inconvenience," said the official statement of Nintendo as cited by Nintendo Insider.

It's interesting to see and speculate if the temporary offline move has anything to do with the newly found way to cheat in online battles. First surfacing in Reddit, there is now talk that Instacheck, the community feature that Pokemon X and Y gamers have tried to build in order to make Shiny spotting easier, has now been turned into a hack software that can even predict Pokemon moves in online battles.
Nintendo and Game Freak has yet to offer any comments on the new software hack, but a lot of gamers are already getting antsy about the possibility of cheating in Pokemon X and Y.
