After the long wait for "Pokemon X and Y's" Pokemon Bank, a new update has surfaced from Nintendo UK. A Redditor has posted an image that states the new update in four separate messages compiled below:

"Hi Pokemon fans, sorry it's taken until now before we could give you an update on Pokemon Bank."

"Pokemon Bank & Poke Transporter services have now resumed operation in various Asian territories incl. Japan."

"We'll be closely monitoring players' experiences as we prepare for the European release."

"Once again we want to apologise for the delay, and thank you for your patience and your interest."

As expected, Redditor fans have their own way of reacting to the news.

"What's that supposed to mean? The experience of envy at those who are lucky enough to have Bank? You already have more than enough evidence of that," said freezybreez.

There are others who are more skeptic about an easy and fast release date to other areas besides Asia. "I'm hoping this indicates they are poised to release it here but they will only do it if it works well over there. Most likely they won't even ready worldwide release until after they see the results though," said scarblade666.

*Experiencing the save-corrupting error on the PS4? Here's a two-step guide to help you fix it up even temporarily.

"The whole Pokebank fiasco could have been avoided/mitigated if Nintendo had invested more time and resources into maintaining better online capabilities in the first place. They seriously couldn't handle the load of Nintendo ID activations in Japan alone?" said firefoxtails.

Escapist Magazine has also spotted a tweet from Nintendo, this time form Nintendo of America, confirming the re-release. "Pokemon Bank has launched in certain Asian countries. (1/2)." However, just like in the UK, fans are asked to stay tuned as to when the availability for other regions like North America will get their chance at the Pokemon Bank.

New 'Pokemon X and Y' Event Coming

Aside from the re-release of the Pokemon Bank in Japan, there is also a new event that will follow the Toys 'R' Us event last Christmas.

According to Serebii, a new event has been announced for the redistribution of two Pokemons in Japan, namely Gengar and Scizor. The former will be a Level 25 Pokemon, with the Psychic, Confuse, Ray, Sucker Punch and Shadow Punch moves, without any hold item.

Scizor will also be at Level 25, have Aerial Ace, False Swipe, Fury Cutter, and Agility for moves, and the ability of Technician or Swarm. The source adds that the two Pokemons will be released as a Mystery Gift in Pokemon Centers come February.
