It's been a while since the last update on tips to catch Mega Evolutions for Pokemon X and Y. A new report from Product-Reviews has put the spotlight on two Pokemons, Tyranitarite and Aggronite, and how to get the stones that would allow you to render a Mega Tyranitar and a Mega Aggron.

According to the report, gamers can get only one of the two, as they are dependent on whether you have a Pokemon X or Y copy of the game. This is said to be one of the reasons why these two Pokemons and their stones could be very valuable in trading.

One way to get the two stones for both Pokemons is to follow the video seen below. Basically, you have to ensure that you already fought at Kiloude against your rival and completed the game before finding the stones.

As seen in the video, you can get Tyranitarite with Pokemon X and Aggronite for Pokemon Y.

You should go to the gym of Cyllage City, climb the walls while going to the right and see a sparkling item hidden in the notch of the stone structure, and once you pick it up, you will be notified that you have found Aggronite.

You can go to Route 15 and follow the directions and in order to activate Aggronite to mega evolve the Pokemon while in battle.

What is an ability capsule?

Many players of Pokemon X and Y have been wondering what the Ability Capsule is, and what its importance and contributions to the game are.

Serebii has recently created a page devoted solely to the Ability Capsule in order to help gamers see if it is worth the purchase.

*Tales from Telltale Games: At the VGX 2013, there have been quite a number of reveals for the developers with regard to upcoming awaited titles. Read the details here.

This is the first question that comes to mind, mostly because it is an expensive new item that was just introduced in Pokemon X and Y. Described as an item that lets you change the ability of your Pokemon permanently and outside of battles, the Ability Capsule does have some conditions that need to be met.

The first is that it's only for one-time use, and it is worth 200 BP at Battle Maison. This means that not everyone tends to make use of it unless it's really necessary to save the item. In addition, the capability to switch abilities is only possible for standard abilities. This means that any Pokemon that has a hidden ability will not find much use for the Ability Capsule.

As one situational example given by Serebii, those who are using the Ability Capsule on Charmander (who only has one ability) will not find any changes when the capsule is used. But those who are using it on a Brozor can easily switch between Levitate and Heatproof.

In the forums, many are asking about the Ability Capsule as a lot of gamers are still wary of using a 200 BP-worth item that's been touted to have only a one-time use.

Some forums, like in the pokemoncommunity.com, users like Keiran have already tried it out. "It's used outside of battle. Using Seattles example, say you bred a shiny Scyther. You were really excited until you saw it had the inferior Swarm. Well, now you have the ability to change it to Technician PERMANENTLY (unless you use another capsule) for only 200 BP."

You can also visit Serebii's page in the link above to see the different Pokemons on which the Ability Capsule will work on.
