PS4 Countdown to Release Date: Unboxing Video Out, More PS4 Deals Offered; Sony’s New Terms Prohibits Renting, Reselling Games
Leave it to Sony to make an unboxing video of the PS4 into something of a performance. The latest video from the official PlayStation YouTube featuring the next-gen console is the official unboxing of the PS4, set to release before the week ends.
In the video seen in the link above, Sony Worldwide boss Shuhei Yoshida is supposed to be a secret agent of sorts and is on a mission to unbox what is said to be "greatness" awaiting within the PS4.
The video is complete with background tunes, a fairly elaborate set (at least when compared to the Xbox One's unboxing featuring Major Nelson), and a very succinct message at the end, "Greatness awaits" from the boss himself.
It's only with Sony that you can make focusing on the small things like the Quick Start Guide and the HDMI cable into something of a bigger deal than it really is. But perhaps that's what' greatness is about?

No Reselling or Renting of PS4 games
While borrowing games for the next-gen PS4 has been clearly made easy--as the video of Yoshida and Sony's Adam Boyes revealed in E3--the rules for renting and reselling of games are more complicated.
Segment Next has found an update in the terms of usage for the PS4, particularly concern any resale of the games. Found in the 7.1 section of the terms, it states that, "You must not resell either Disc-based Software or Software Downloads, unless expressly authorized by us and, if the publisher is another company, additionally by the publisher."
This is due to the fact that the games and software from Sony are merely licensed to you when you buy it, not necessarily giving you ownership of the software. So any violation of the terms above can lead to software license termination.
The short story of this is that, if you are thinking of selling off your games in the future, this may not be possible at all, given the conditions above. So the most that you can do with them is let your friends borrow your games.
