Yesterday, Microsoft announced that the games for Xbox One will have the same price as the Xbox 360 games, which is around $59.99. This seems like a challenge for its competitor, who has not yet given word on how much the PS4 prices will be.

Now Sony has confirmed its PS4 games, and it turns out that those who are thinking of buying the PS4 over the Xbox One/Xbox 720 don't have to fear-the games will still be priced at $59.99.

GameSpot reports that these are for first-party PS4 titles, as those from third-party publishers are yet to announce their prices on the Xbox One and PS4.

So far, gamers can expect InFamous: Second Son, DriveClub, Knack, and Killzone: Shadowfall as first-party titles to be launched alongside the PS4 console.

But for those who will be availing of the PS Plus subscription can already get the DriveClub game for free as a come-on.

Free titles via PS Plus

As earlier mentioned, DriveClub is already heading to gamers for free, only for those who will be subscribing to the PS Plus service for more additional content and features for the PS4.

Official PlayStation Magazine also confirms that the free DriveClub game will be the full version of the game, instead of a teaser, so you don't have to worry about purchasing the actual game after the release of the PS4.

"The way we're looking at it is we want to deliver the greatest community based game we can. So, being tied in with having the PS Plus Edition allows us to deliver that content bang on day one with Drive Club," said Ben Gouldstone, senior designer of the game, to Official PlayStation Magazine.

"It's not going to be trimmed down in terms of features, the only thing that's going to be [reined] in is the amount of content delivered in the PS Plus edition. But in terms of feature set, it's a full game."

Another game title that's coming for free in Sony is Outlast, a scarefest-proven at the PS4 E3 2013 conference, where gamers will have to face their worst fears in the dark and aim to get out alive and sane.

Aptly set in an asylum, Mashable reports that Outlast will be part of the free games offered with the PS Plus subscription, one of the indie games that you'd love to play and love even more because you get it for free.

This is a bonus game even, as it was originally slated for a PC release only, and now will be a console-exclusive for Sony. It 's one of the reasons why the $50 a year subscription to PS Plus makes it worthwhile.

Cross-game chat coming to PS4

In another wave of listening to fans' requests, Sony has finally revealed a new feature for its next-gen console, one that has been sought for by fans of the current-gen console, PS3.

According to Just Push Start, you can now talk with friends even when you're playing different games. The catch here is that you would have to be a PS Plus subscriber and shell out $5 a month to get the service.

Of course, it's not all that you will get when you have a subscription, as you can also access free games and exclusive content, as well as the touted multiplayer mode for some select games.

It's nice to see Sony not only offer a lot of value-added features to the PS4, but also give more features to a premium service such as the PS Plus, which can make subscriptions for the more skeptical a bit easier to transition.
