What was first a leaked listing over at Amazon has now become an official and confirmed bundle coming for the PlayStation platform.

Dubbed as the PS4 and Vita Ultimate Player Bundle, Sony has already confirmed that it will be coming out to different regions in different timelines.

"The availability of the PS4/PS Vita bundle will be determined and announced on a regional basis," said a Sony spokesperson to Eurogamer.

The original listing at Amazon France has pegged the PS4 and Vita Ultimate Player Edition bundle with the price tag of €579.99 and a release date of July 4, though the latter may be ignored given Sony's statement.

The PS4 and Vita Ultimate Player Edition bundle is pretty much in line with how Sony has been promoting the PS4 and the PS Vita-as a bundled pair that allows you to play in the living room or on the go via Remote Play. This bundle makes sense, especially for those targeting gamers who have only patronized the PS3 console without dabbling with the handheld.

As far as the price tag goes, hopefully, the new bundle will give bigger savings for gamers so that it will be more enticing to buy the pair in one go.

Updates for Guerrilla Games' Plans

Studio updates are becoming common as the E3 2014 comes nearer and expectations rise for what will be showcased on the show floor during the event.

Over at Guerrilla Games, the recent Reddit AMA held by senior online producer Samat Sharma had produced some interesting new update, as documented by DualShockers.

For one thing, mention of the future of the "Killzone" franchise was touched upon, particularly about a remastered version of "Killzone 2" for the PS4.

"To be fair, there is a lot of thought being put into, at the Sony level, on how to handle our digital library for the PS4. Expect announcements to that effect at some point in the future," said Sharma as quoted by DualShockers.

On the note of a "Killzone: Liberation" remake, Sharma did comment that they "love Liberation," but it sounds more like an hopeful expression of a possibility rather than an absolute decision in the future.

Lastly, Guerrilla Games' newest PS4 game, which is currently unannounced to date, has been confirmed that it won't be seeing light at E3 2014, with the sheer reason that the studio is not yet confident with what they can show at the event.

"There is simply a lot of work that we need to do before we show it to our fans."

New Footage for MGSV on the PS4

"Metal Gear Solid V" fans are treated to a pre-E3 2014 footage of the title as creator Hideo Kojima shows off the open-world game on the PS4 days before the event.

Spotted by GameSpot, the video demonstration is an hour and a half long, with the gameplay demo starting of just a little before the first hour up. Aside from the demo, a map is also showcased for the "MGSV: The Phantom Pain."

This is just a sneak peek of what's to come for the E3 2014, as Konami has promised that there will be more to come. Hopefully, this will include details of "Phantom Pain, including the release date. Considering that there have been criticisms for the predecessor installment, "MGSV: Ground Zeroes" for the very short game time and content, perhaps the massiveness of the "MGSV: The Phantom Pain" world is something of a compensation.
