Sony plans to reposition the video console warhorse as a hub for a network of streamed services, according to three senior officials, offering social media, movies and music as well as games. For those who are looking for more options, the coming months will bring in a well-known game and a previously Xbox exclusive title. PlayStation Trophies reports that "Peggle 2" will finally be released on the PS4 on Oct. 14 in North America and Oct. 15 in Europe.

The EA classic arcade game will run on 1080p and 60FPS resolution, with five Peggle Masters to challenge and defeat. A multiplayer aspect, Peg Party and Duels, will also be available when it releases. Developer PopCap has even lined up a livestream from 10 a.m. PST/6:00p.m. BST on Sept. 25.

Another game that fans should check out is "Rocksmith 2014," which has been announced to debut on the PS4 and Xbox One on Nov. 4. Since this will be the new-gen console version of the title, expect a few more features, including the use of Real Tone Cable and over 50 tracks coming to the base game. According to Polygon, there are also 300 more tracks slated to be released as DLCs. Libraries from the PS3 or Xbox 360 are transferable to the PS4 version of the game.
