Deep Down detailed for PS4
Deep Down has already been announced for the PS4, but it is only now that Sony Japan is giving more details about th game. in an interview with Yoshinori Ono, producer at Legendary Capcom, Gamepur has revealed some very interesting aspects about the game.
It will be a futuristic game that makes use of time travel via information from certain items, thus the term Reading RPG. Emotions also play a big part of the game, as they will heavily influence the environment.
The game may also be an online multiplayer at its best, as it was created with the idea of online gaming in mind. Still, Sony is giving players the option of going through the game alone. As an added bonus, remote play via PS Vita is supported, with ongoing work on how to add other complementary devices like apps for tablets.
Thinking into the future, the developers already have planned updates to maintain the interest in the game, as it aims to be part of those that are pretty much on the level of DOTA or League of Legends.
New game alert: Hyper Light Drifter Reaches PS4, PS Vita level
The pixelated 2D action RPG Hyper Light Drifter is only a week old on Kickstarter, and yet it has already achieved $228,567 of its $27,000 goal from 9,700 and counting backers.
Because of this, it has already unlocked a number of things, such as being greenlit on Steam and heading to the PS4 and PS Vita.
"Visions for this game have been fluttering in my skull for ages; something dark and fantastic, with giant forests to navigate, huge floating structures to explore, deep crumbling ruins to loot, massive throngs of enemies to rend, and behemoths both flesh and mechanical to overcome," said Alex Preston, part of the Heart Machine developer of the game.
"It plays like the best parts of A Link to the Past and Diablo, evolved: lightning fast combat, more mobility, an array of tactical options, more numerous and intelligent enemies, and a larger world with a twisted past to do it all in."
So what can you expect from the game? There are combats, both brutal and epic, upgrade weapons, interconnected worlds taking inspiration from Miyazaki films, and a sword that never runs low on energy.
For as low as $10, you can already get an early backer digital copy, while a $75 already gives you an alternate character to play in-game, extra key for a friend to give you a total of 3 keys, a second set of wallpapers, and digital companion art book with soundtrack.
Since there is now support for the PS4 and PS Vita, those who will have pledged $10 can simply add $5 so that the developer can give a choice of which platform key to deliver.
