November has already rolled in, and the wait for the release dates of the PS4 and Xbox One has now brought in a lot of last-minute announcements. And it seems like Microsoft's Xbox One is pulling out the big guns in lieu of the mixed reception of the PS4's FAQs.

Since the announcement that the PS4 may not have the ability to play MP3s or stream media via DLNA, the Xbox One is now looking to be a good choice, as it will have the exact two features missing from the PS4.

According to TechRadar, Microsoft has already confirmed that its next-gen Xbox One will be DLNA compatible, offering ability to play music and stream media.

But it was also reported by Polygon that the Xbox One is still under current development for its DLNA certification for it to become a Play To receiver so that its users can easily stream content from other supported devices, like Windows PCs and Windows Phones.

Still, on the side of Sony's PS4, Sony Worldwide boss Shuhei Yoshida has commented that the PS4 development team is looking into feedback from the community regarding the two missing features.

In addition to this, another post-launch feature will be made available for the Xbox One. According to The Game Fanatics, Major Nelson, Xbox One community manager, has hinted that it is possible to do digital game-gifting for the Xbox One.

Stated via Reddit, Major Nelson responded to the question of digital game-gifting to a friend with "Great feature we'd like to add in someday, but it won't be there at launch."

This is definitely a teaser, as no other details have been announced. However, it is a good way to expand the use of Xbox One as just a personal use game console. And, if it is, indeed, added to the Xbox One someday, it will put it in the ranks of Steam and Wii U, which enable the feature.

PS4: On Cross-plays and a Headset

Also, part of the massive FAQs that Sony has released is the ability for cross-play between PS4 and PS3 with a slight condition: it depends on developers.

According to a report from Polygon, there are currently no games that have this capability, but it is possible for future games, granted that its developers enable this kind of support for the games. However, one game that's currently in the drawing board, "Helldivers," will have this feature. GameSpot adds that "DC Universe Online" has also been confirmed to allow cross-play with PS3.

Apparently, this is a way to ensure that those who may not yet want to upgrade to the PS4 will still be able to play the game with their friends.

Speaking of announcements, PlayStation Lifestyle has also announced the first PS4-compatible headset, the Turtle Beach Ear Force PX4, which will be available at launch. Obviously, this is a very limited choice for PS4 players, but there is an upside to it---you can choose to use this headset not just for the PS4 or PS3, but also PCs, Mac, mobile devices and, get this, even the Xbox 360.

You also get clear, rich sounds to complement your gameplay and ensure that voice chat won't be a hassle in terms of interference or poor quality sounds. The Turtle Beach Ear Force PX4 has a 15-hour battery that is rechargeable via USB and can be used even while charging, so it's not a bad deal at all.

What do you think of the PS4 now that some of its more disappointing points have been highlighted? Is it enough to warrant an instant switch, or are you hoping for a future update to remedy these lowlights?
