Nikon Launches Mirrorless Cameras Ahead of Canon for New Market

Nikon on Wednesday unveiled its first mirrorless cameras, Nikon 1 J1 and Nikon 1 V1, priced at $915 and $1300. They have large sensors, giving good picture quality, but no optical viewfinders, enabling manufacturers to keep the camera body compact and light.

The Heart Foundation, which grants the use of the health seal in license agreements, said it has asked McDonalds to remove the popular Tick sign, not as a criticism, but as a move indicating a change in the foundation's focus. McDonald's pays about $300,000 a year for the right to display the Tick seal.

About 600 redhead donors are in queue to donate their sperm but Cryos deemed it necessary to stop at this point.
