Ryan Reynolds Posts Behind The Scenes Photo From 'Deadpool' [Video]
Ryan Reyonlds made his Instagram debut on May 11. The 38-year-old shared a photo of from "Deadpool," which is currently being filmed in Vancouver.
Reynolds captioned the image saying, "Stuck the landing. With my mouth." It features Deadpool flying though the air, over a car and holding two guns. This is the second photo the "Green Lantern" actor has posted this week. According to the Huffington Post, Reyonlds posted a "Deadpool-themed Mother's Day" Twitter photo. It features the "Merc with a mouth" in a delivery room, holding a baby. The actor captioned it "#Deadpool: A motherf**ker since 1991," with the hashtag #happymamasday.
Mario Lopez, the host of "Extra," also posted a photo of Deadpool from the set of the upcoming comic book movie. The photo features the mercenary looking to knock out the host. The 41-year-old captioned the photo, "Why is it every time I see Ryan Reynolds he tries to kill me? What’s up with that?! #Deadpool"
Lopez was referring to the April Fool's interview between the duo. According to The Wrap, the two start "squabbling" over the movie's MPAA rating. Then Deadpool smashes a television set on Lopez. (Watch the video below.)
The report also states Reynolds saying that the upcoming film will be as loyal to the comics as "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" wasn't. Reynolds later confirmed that "Deadpool"has been rated R.
Deadpool is a Marvel antihero, who made his debut in February 1991. The character was created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld, he was originally depicted as a villain. The disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary has the ability to heal himself. Deadpool is also characterised by his talkative nature and tendency to break the fourth wall.
Apart from Reynolds, "Deadpool" also stars Brianna Hildebrand (Annie Undocumented) as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and T.J Miller (Silicon Valley) as Weasel. The duo are joined by Morena Baccarin (Homeland) as Vanessa Carlysle or Copycat and Gina Carano (Fast and Furious 6) as Angel Dust.
"Deadpool" is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on February 12, 2016.
