The latest in the developments from Samsung that may be included in the Samsung Galaxy S5 reveal the latest CMOS image sensor called the ISOCELL. Pursuing the direction of better image and increased light sensitivity for a closer-to-real-life colour, Samsung may be on to something with regard to the future of its devices' cameras.

Comparing the ISOCELL with the previous BSI revealed that it retains more of the colour of the object, rather than giving the washed out effect that has been the concern of some Samsung Galaxy S device users.

GSM Arena reports that the ISOCELL image sensor may be the key towards ensuring the quality of photos without having to create a large camera. This may be due to the way that the ISOCELL sensor will be able to improve control of electron absorption.

Metal Magic for Samsung Galaxy S5?

Perhaps the long-standing critique of Samsung's flagship phones as being cheap in looks due to the plastic exterior, rumours now point to the possibility that Samsung will look and feel more premium once the Samsung Galaxy S5 rolls out.

According to Gizmodo, news from the supply chain has suggested that metal may be the next material used for Samsung's flagship phone next year, as 30 million metal cases have been up for request.

Further details reveal that the manufacturer in question may be the one who has been making the materials for Apple's own iPhone lines, which can mean that the same build and feel of the overall body may now be expected of the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Samsung Galaxy S5 New Concept Design

In a span of a year, Samsung has been able to roll out a number of improvements and new technology for its flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy S Series.

With other mobile devices and wearable technology already released and unveiled to the public, all eyes are starting to turn towards the Samsung Galaxy S5, despite being almost half a year away from being unveiled.

Already, there are a number of new features that are rumoured and suggested to be included in the device, including the 64-bit Octa-core processor. To tease you even more for the display, a new concept design for the Samsung Galaxy S5 has been released.

Reported by 3G, notice that the design is pretty different from what Samsung has already been rolling out. This time, it has an edge-to-edge display, in an almost wrap-around fashion in the front and the two sides. The device is also squared off at the corners, unlike the way that it was for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Included in the design is the 5.3-inch Youm flexible display, a renovated home button that is touch sensor-based, quad-surround speakers with S-Surround technology and a touch sensor-based power button.

What's an interesting idea for Samsung would be the push towards better images, as the concept design features a 3.2-megapixel front camera with 720p as well as a 16-megapixel rear Carl Zeiss shooter with Samsung's own S-vision sensor enhancement to shoot perfect moments.

Other features include 3GB of RAM, 2GHz Exynos 5 Octa-core processor, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, S-Vision optical image stabilisation, a 3200 mAh Li-ion Battery and a waterproof and shockproof body.
