With the end of Skyrim marked with announcement that no Skyrim DLCs will come out after Dragonborn, it seems that all fans can expect are minor updates.

What's more, according to The Examiner, what developer Bethesda meant by minor updates is that no additional gameplay features will be added to the game.

However, EndGadget reports that another way to play Skyrim is emerging--and that's through virtual reality. As if to make the hunting and slaying of dragons even more immersive, trying out the game with the Oculus Rift developers kit has proven that, with proper tweaks and modifications, Skyrim can be played with virtual reality.

One problem that has to be fixed, if plans do push through, is that the menus and user interface in Skyrim can't be manipulated through the Oculus Rift. This can get in the way of the experience, but this does not mean that it's not doable, considering the games that have already been tested for the Oculus Rift.

Even with this possibility, however, Bethesda has already closed its doors to any additions to the game--unless Kickstarter campaigns or a similar event occurs--so Skyrim VR gameplay will have to come from some other developer.

Bethesda and horror: Are we expecting two games?

Bethesda now has its hands full with its neweeset project, the Evli Within, where Shinji Mikami of Resident Evil is taking the lead. But now, it seems that there's another horror title in the works, which has surfaced in the Australian Classification website.

According to Escapist Magazine, the new title linked to Bethesda is called Endless Summer. And while the title may give you the image of a bright sky with endless fields of flowers in bloom, the listing called for a 15-rated modified game with strong horror themes and violence.

Now, Bethesda has been recently making headlines as details of The Evil Within start to trickle, but may Endless Summer actually be The Evil Within, re-titled? Is it a teaser game, a prequel perhaps? Or is it an entirely new game, a double horror as it were, for Bethesda?

Speculations aside, what is known about The Evil Within is that it will mix survival horror and action perfectly, according to MIkami. IGN reports that the game's protagonist is Sebastian, a detective who is teamed up with Joseph and the Kid (she's a girl, by the way), who are called to investigate homicide in an asylum.

"It's much harder to scare players these days," said producer Masato Kimura to IGN. "We hope to overcome that, or address that by having a more immersive experience, we want you to identify with the protagonist, we want you to feel what he feels."

This is also why Sebastian is not given any superhero powers, but that does not mean he's helpless either--it's the Goldilocks tension of being completely taken into the situations, but having that small sliver of hope that you'll survive.
