“Sons of Anarchy” star Kenneth Choi joins the cast in Universal’s new horror flick “Stephanie.” To be directed by Award-winning screenwriter Akiva Goldsman (“A Beautiful Mind”), the Blumhouse and Chapter One film stars Shree Crooks, Frank Grillo, Alexa Mansour, Jonah Beres and Anna Torv.

According to the film's synopsis, “Stephanie” follows the story of a young girl named Stephanie (Crooks) “who is abandoned by her parents, forced to survive on peanut butter and conversation with her toy turtle. When her parents return to claim their daughter, they find dark supernatural forces are wreaking havoc, with Stephanie at the center of the turmoil.”

Written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, the movie is Choi’s newest project after he wrapped up his role in NBC’s series “Allegiance” and FX’s biker drama series “Sons of Anarchy.” The 43-year-old also starred as Jim Morita in the film “Captain America: The First Avenger” and Chester Ming in Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

His "SOA" character Henry Lin was last seen in the show’s final season where Juice (Theo Rossi) repeatedly stabbed him after he confessed that Barosky (Peter Weller) is the real traitor and not Jury White (Michael Shamus Wiles). Choi had a recurring role in the show from Season 1 until it wrapped up in December 2015.

The actor is also set to star in the movie “The Whole Truth,” an upcoming drama thriller film that stars Keanu Reeves, Renee Zellwegger, Jim Belushi and Gabriel Basso. Choi is represented by Talentworks, Atlas Artists and Myman and Greenspan.

Meanwhile, "SOA" co-stars Mark Boone Junior (Bobby) and Tommy Flanagan (Chibs) are set to appear on a Fourth of July event. Hollister Freedom Rally is set to feature the two actors in the three-day weekend event in downtown Hollisters so fans can have the chance to meet and greet the actors.

Tommy Flanagan is also gearing up for his next big screen role in the 2015 film “Light Wounds” after he wrapped his seven-year stint with “Sons of Anarchy.” He also joined the cast of “Revenge” and plays a recurring role as the powerful and dangerous Malcolm Black.
