The device is powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 801) processor, clocked at 2.5 GHz and it is backed by a good 3 GB of RAM. Also, it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, which will be upgradeable to Android v5.0 Lollipop sometime in early 2015.

Speaking of camera configuration, the tablet sports an 8.1 MP rear-facing unit with digital zoom, in addition to a 2.2 MP front-facing shooter. There is a 16 GB or 32 GB internal storage option with microSD card slot for expansion up to 128 GB. Apart from the standard connectivity options, the tablet also supports NFC and 4G LTE. Lastly, this powerhouse of a device comes equipped with a whopping 4,500 mAh battery unit. This battery can provide up to 23 hours of 3G talk time and 1300 hours of 3G stand-by time.

As far as the pricing goes, the Wi-Fi-only variant of the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact with 32 GB storage will set the buyers back by $499.99. Furthermore, the LTE variant will be launched later this year. Interested readers should check out the info-graphic from Phone Arena.
