Detroit Tigers Acquire David Price in Three Team Deal with Seattle Mariners and Tampa Bay Rays

David Price is heading to the Detroit Tigers after he was dealt in a three team trade with the Seattle Mariners and the Tampa Bay Rays. The CY Young Award winner was sent in exchange for center fielder Austin Jackson to Seattle while Tampa Bay receives left hander Drew Smyly, Willy Adames and Nick Franklin. Price quickly acknowledged the transfer on his official Twitter account Thursday.

NFL News: Ray Rice Admits Mistake, Issues Public Apology

Facing the media in a span of almost twenty minutes, Rice described his legal predicament as "the biggest mistake of my life". He is facing charges for a domestic violence committed against his then-fiancee Janay Palmer in New Jersey. Rice is undergoing a diversion program upon completion of which will be able to admonish him of the charges.
