Electronic Arts has announced a DLC pack for the game priced at $50. Electronic Arts

Electronic Arts recently announced plans to offer a season pass for the upcoming sci-fi action game “Star Wars: Battlefront.” The publisher is following the same strategy that it has been doing for previous games by developer DICE.

The season pass will provide access to four expansion packs, though EA has yet to detail the release dates of the DLCs, Gamespot reported. However, EA stated that the DLC packs will include new content and take players to new locations across the galaxy.

Season passes for games are becoming increasingly popular because of the benefits it offers to users in the long run. Users will also receive early access to each expansion. The pass also includes a “Shoot First” emote, as written on the game’s official blog.

The PlayStation Store, Xbox Store and Origin for PC list the price for the season pass as $50. This translates to each expansion pack costing $15 each. There is an even better offer for fans who are set on availing the Season Pass for "Star Wars Battlefront." EA has announced an Ultimate Edition, which includes everything from the Deluxe Edition and the Season Pass.

The Deluxe Edition itself includes an instant access to five in-game items including the DL44 Blaster, Ion Grenade, Ion Torpedo, Ion Shock (emote) and Victory (exclusive emote), reported Gamespot. The Deluxe edition of the game costs $70. As of writing, EA has not yet announced the price for the Ultimate Edition.

The beta version of the game has been extended until Oct. 13. “Star Wars Battlefront” game will be available on Nov. 17.
