This year's Iron Man made a hype because of three things: one, it may be the final, two, it was a great movie, and three, Alcatel made it as an exclusive mobile partner for the movie.

And now, those who want to share the same phone that Tony Stark used in the third installment of the movie can now get their hands on it, as the Alcatel One Touch Idol becomes available for preorder.

Digital Trends reports that Alcatel has announced that it can be preordered from the official website, though a disclaimer has also been posted warning that the device is a GSM unlocked phone, so Sprint and Verizon users may not be able to use it with the network.

According to CNet, the Alcatel One' Touch Idol features a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.7-inch screen display, and 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras. Considering these features plus a meager 7.2 hours of talk time and 415 hours on standby, this is a fairly mid-range device for Tony Stark, but perhaps his technology is limited to the Iron Man suits.

The Alcatel One Touch Idol will be available for $300. The report also states that customers cannot purchase the phone through a mobile carrier for a contract discount. Expect the phone to start shipping at around June 15 for those who want to avail of the preorder.

Nokia slated to release a Man of Steel version of the Lumia 925

If Alcatel is showing its support for Marvel, on the opposite side of the comic books spectrum is Nokia, which will be showing its support of the upcoming Superman movie, Man of Steel.

Conversations with Nokia reports that the Nokia Lumia 925 will feature a limited edition of its Man of Steel version, which is set to be released in the Chinese market starting June 14.

However, the features are ones that you may have already heard: an aluminum and polycarbonate frame, Gorilla Glass 2 screen, an 8.7-megapixel Pureview lens, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, and 4G Internet access.

Latinos Post adds that the phone may have the Superman emblem on the back as proof of the tie-up. This may be the main difference of the Man of Steel phone compared to other Lumia 925 units that will be released, with the exception of the Man of Steel app already pre-installed.

Those who are planning to buy a Nokia Lumia 925 or any of Nokia's Lumia series may also have the chance to download the Windows-exclusive Man of Steel up, according to Neowin.net.

This isn't the first time that Nokia has tried to tie-up with a DC-based movie, with last year's Dark Knight Lumia 900, with only 900 units to have reportedly been made and distributed. GSM Arena adds that the Batman Lumia 900 also came with a Dark Knight Rises app preinstalled to get access to exclusive items.

Hopefully, this won't mean that there will only be 925 Nokia Lumia 925 Man of Steel phones available but it is possible to make the hype even more sought after.
