What We Know So Far About Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Project Zen: New iPhone Competitor, 4K Display, Dual Edge and More on Release
Samsung's Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge were just recently released but more expectations about the Galaxy Note 5 have started surfacing. Despite Samsung remaining tightlipped about the matter, several features have been linked to the device suggesting dual edge display, 4K resolution and more.
Previously linked to Project Zen, attention over the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has been mounting with more details such as dual edge display and 4K resolution among the most talked about features. The upcoming phablet is expected to come with an Exynos 7422 chipset which will consequently it is the company's first all-in-one solution. Meaning the chipset will have RAM, GPU, CPU, storage as well as modem specifications. Whereas some may be hopeful over the Galaxy Note 5 cramming everything into one chipset, there are also expectations that the solution would be more available through the Galaxy S7 instead.
However, Samsung insiders did note that the chip is still considered an engineering sample. The technology will be working with more or higher pixel quantity thus the possible larger energy requirement. Moreover, previous expectations have noted a curved display as seen on the Galaxy Note Edge.
Whereas Galaxy Note 5 has been linked constantly to Project Zen previouly, the surfacing details did note that it may not be a variant of the series. The specs offered appear more low-end than the expected Galaxy Note 5 features. These include 5.4-inch/5.5-inch Super AMOLED dual-edge curved display, hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 8MP front camera, 16MP primary camera, 16B storage and S-Pen.
