‘Assassin’s Creed Unity’ And ‘Rogue’: New Trailer Shows Off Customisation As Rogue PC Version Gets Spotted In UPlay
With the end of September comes a couple of new updates for the November-slated titles, "Assassin's Creed Unity" and "Assassin's Creed Rogue." This time, a new trailer has been released featuring the customization capabilities that players can extend to their character Arno in "Assassin's Creed Unity."
Featured over at the Xbox Wire, the new trailer shows off a demo of how to customize your character. For instance, players are encouraged to progress and personalise their characters in terms of outfits, gears and skills.
Players can start off with fashion from the French Revolution, then Arno's skill set and abilities and even the gear that can be mixed and matched, depending on their assassination and fighting style. Given that there are over 85 weapons to choose from, four gear categories to upgrade and a number of costumes and outfits differentiated into five categories, it's almost impossible to have two characters alike.
20 Minutes of Gameplay Shows Off Battles and Missions
Since "Assassin's Creed Rogue" will be the transition toward the next-gen game "Assassin's Creed Unity," it's not surprising that it will feature similar gameplay styles with last year's "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag." A new trailer has been spotted by DualShockers, which features 20 minutes of gameplay for the PS3 and Xbox 360 title.
The video shows off some naval features and interception of carrier pigeons from the assassin brotherhood so players can gather intel on their targets. The developer has also revealed some story plot background such as Shay's alliance with the British and an enemy outlook on the French.
The demo also shows off destructible environments where icebergs can be destroyed when you need an emergency plan and getaway. Deep sea diving will not be allowed for "Assassin's Creed Rogue," considering that there are icebergs floating around, so narrative-wise, the creators have avoided deep sea diving for the hero. Check out the gameplay demo and interview below.
'Assassin's Creed Rogue' PC Version Spotted
That's not all there is for the "Assassin's Creed Rogue" as sighting of the PC version has been seen over at UPlay. DSO Gaming has seen the PC version make its appearance over at UPlay. A screenshot can be seen in the link above.
Given that the sighting occurred in the official UPLAY Reward page, this makes the chances of a PC version of "Assassin's Creed Rogue" even more plausible. However, until now, Ubisoft has not yet commented on the leak or confirmed the existence of the PC version of the title. The most that Ubisoft has stated about "Assassin's Creed Rogue" is that it will be coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360, and the PC version is still a project that they are looking into.
