'Fantastic Four' Heroes To Wear 'Traditional Costumes' For The Fans

Miles Teller, a cast member of “Fantastic Four,” has revealed in an interview that the upcoming movie will feature the heroes wearing the traditional costumes seen in the comic books. The images and the trailer of the movie show the cast members wearing a mostly black outfit.

“Fantastic Four” reboot will be telling the origin story of four young people who gain superpowers, when they travel to an alternate universe. Miles Teller spoke to ScreenCrush about the costume the four heroes will be wearing in the movie.

The actor revealed that the costumes that the fans see the cast members wearing in the images and in the trailer are the “beta versions” and that the four lead characters will get to wear the “traditional costumes” that the fans are familiar with. “You've got to give that to the fans. That's what it's all about,” the actor reportedly said.

The comic books and the cartoons of the characters show them wearing a blue costume with a large “4” at the centre. The previous movies from the franchise, starring Chris Evans and Jessica Alba, featured the cast members wearing a dark blue costume that had the number four on the chest.

The trailer of the “Fantastic Four” reboot shows the characters making the journey to the alternate universe wearing what appears to be some form of space suit. They are later seen wearing the full black outfits, which is said to be the costume that the characters will be seen in for the most part of the movie.

According to the report, Miles Teller explained that the lead characters will be seen in their traditional costume towards the end of the movie. The report speculates that the traditional costume will be seen on screen after the lead characters become close to each other and form an official team.

The heroes in “Fantastic Four” will have to take on their arch nemesis Dr. Doom in the movie. The role of Victor Domashev will be played by Toby Kebbell in the movie. Some of the other cast members and their roles in the movie are Kate Mara as Sue Storm, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm and Miles Teller as Reed Richards.
