‘GTA 5 Online’ On PC Already Being Tested For Release As Rockstar Shows Off New Jobs
After alleged leaks of upcoming DLCs for "GTA 5 Online" as well as the oft-discussed but never finalized Online Heists DLC, the next thing that fans are waiting for when it comes to "GTA 5 Online" is its release date for upcoming platforms PS4, Xbox One and PC. And this time, there may be more clues as to what's going on behind the scenes with the developers.
Spotted by DSO Gaming, it appears that there are testers who are already at work with "GTA 5" and they have been doing play testing for the PC. According to the source, there are two game testers who have been at it with the "GTA 5" over the past weekend for five to six hours.
An accompanying chart, which can be seen in the link above, features more details on the play testing. While developer Rockstar Games has not yet touched on the matter of release dates for "GTA 5 Online" PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions, so best to take this with a pinch of salt.
In any case, there have been numerous leaks that have pointed to various release dates for the "GTA 5" on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, none of which have been confirmed. The same goes for some of the more recent leaks, including the alleged Stripper DLC and Zombie DLC. If there's anything to be said about Rockstar Games, they do know how to keep a secret until the time when it needs to be released.
Also this week on "GTA Online," developer Rockstar Games has announced new jobs, all of which hail back to its 2010 hit title, "Red Dead Redemption." It seems that the GTA community is following up on previous job tributes to Rockstar titles from before as well as fan-favorite missions from the GTA series with these new jobs:
- Red Dead Redemption: Be transported to the Old West (minus some shipping containers on the side) with LordSando's Deathmatch set in Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.
- Marston's Ranch: All you have are your pistols in this Deathmatch, though there are occasional Sawn-Off or Grenade somewhere in the mix to spice things up.
- Tesoro Azul: JaseTheChase's take on the multiplayer mode "Hold Your Own," this job will have you aiming for a grab-the-bag-and-back-to-base approach.
- Red Dead Race: Go back to the way you would play Red Dead's Grand Prix, with this Point-to-Point Race through the Grand Senora Desert.
- RED DEAD: A team Deathmatch that puts you in an old sawmill near Mount Chiliad and Mount Gordo, ScarfacexD16's creation is a shoot-out with only pistols as your weapon and protection.
- Red Dead: Similar title but a different Deathmatch altogether from the previous one, this is created by ElusiveBlk202 and it makes every shot in your arsenal count.
- Tall Trees: The forest will provide all the cover you need in this Deathmatch that is reminiscent of a hunting ground in "Red Dead."
- GRAB THE BAG: This job, which has the same name as the multiplayer mode in "Red Dead," will make use of a small fighting area where weapons are spread out evenly alongside elevation options, making for a good tactical fight.
