'GTA V' New Title Update Release Fixes Stability And Story Mode
Following the release of online Heists for “GTA V,” Rockstar Games has announced a couple of new title updates for “GTA V” and “GTA V Online.” These title updates reportedly include fixes to improve the game’s stability and story mode.
Rockstar on its Support Page recently announced that “GTA V” title update 1.22 is now available for PS3 and Xbox 360 users to download. Meanwhile, PS4 and Xbox One users should look for title update 1.08. Rockstar didn’t provide any further details on the said updates but said update 1.08 is now available for download for all consoles. Developers assure the update patch contains “fixes for GTA Online to improve stability and other minor fixes for both GTA Online and Story Mode.”
According to gaming news site N4G, the update is considerably minor at 250MB on the PlayStation 4. The title update may reportedly also contain fixes to online Heists.
The release of the new title updates comes after “GTA V” gamers experienced some online connectivity issues after downloading online Heists. Following the release of the much-anticipated Heists, gamers noticed they couldn’t go online to save their missions or even access the online store. Gamers took to GTA Online Reddit to complain that they couldn’t save their missions online due to the server being down or limited.
Rockstar has since confirmed that the cloud servers had at that time become limited across all consoles following the release and download of online Heists. Full online access was later restored to normal after some intermittent loss of connection was experienced.
Attack of the Fanboy noted that even after Rockstar performed some maintenance on the online connectivity, some “GTA V” gamers were still getting the “limited” status error to their connection. Full normal online access was reportedly later restored at around 12:00 am PST on Friday, March 13.
Online Heists for “GTA V” has been one of the most highly anticipated update for “GTA V.’ Its release has been delayed several times over Rockstar’s efforts to fine tune the game. The long wait has definitely paid off considering the number of gamers who have downloaded the update, which in turn had flooded Rockstar’s online servers.
