Hillary Duff Finds Matchmaking Site Tinder 'Addicting', Now Talking To Nine Guys

Recently divorced Hillary Duff is quick to get back to the dating world -- she has joined popular matchmaking app Tinder and had her first date last week. The actress has been trying out online dating escapades and finds the whole experience “addicting"; she is even talking to nine different guys as of the moment.

In an interview with MYfm’s “Valentine in the Morning,” the “Younger” star admitted that the circulating rumors that she has been swiping right on Tinder were actually true. She added that using the site was a whole new experience that she surprisingly found “wildly addicting” and that it was possible to talk to a number of men at the same time. “I'm talking to probably about...nine guys right now,” she gushed, as quoted by Us Weekly.

Hillary Duff revealed that she found herself on the site after joking around with her friends one night, saying that she was now open to trying out online dating after a series of “really serious boyfriends.” She shared that she had always met people through work and had never been on a blind date and later on realized that there was no harm in trying out the famous Tinder she had heard so much about.

She went on to explain that the first thing she looks for in a potential match was the looks, which she thought people might find vain, but she believed that what she wanted to go for in finding a partner is the “natural chemistry.” She also added that she wanted someone who was funny and easy to talk to, and what they say in their little bio could chip in points. Hers, for instance, says “Let’s have pizza,” and according to her, she had many conversations about it. A major turn-off for her however, is a shirtless mirror selfie, which is an instant swipe left.

In a separate interview, Duff also dished details on her first date with Tom, one of the guys she met on the site. The 27-year-old revealed that she was “really nervous” on the night of their date, but that it actually went smoothly. “We went bowling so we didn't have to talk too much, but we did talk a lot actually," she said, as quoted by News Everyday. She revealed that Tom bought a friend, and she also had a few friends with her, adding that she thought Tom was “cool.”

The former Disney star previously admitted that she has been texting Tom for a while before they went out on Tuesday last week, so they weren’t total strangers. She joked that she even planned her escape if the night did not turn out well, saying that she would crawl out of the bathroom window if it were big enough to accommodate her. "No, I'm too nice, I think I'll stick around," she laughed.

The singer also revealed that she already planned her next Tinder date. She will be going out with one of the other guys she talked to sometime in the next weeks and she wants to take him kart-racing.

Duff divorced hockey player and ex-husband Mike Comrie in February this year and has a three-year-old son named Luca with him. She previously dated co-Disney alum Aaron Carter during her “Lizzie McGuire” years.
