Back up your Device
Make sure to backup your device before you start the jailbreak and make sure that you have updated to iOS 7.0.4 via iTunes and not over-the-air because OTA updates have been reported to cause issues with the jailbreak.

1. Backup your device.
2. Download the evasi0n jailbreak tool. Click here for Mac and here for PC.
3. Connect your iPad or iPhone into your computer.
4. Launch the evasi0n on your computer. If you are on a Mac running on Mountain Lion or Mavericks, right click the evasi0n jailbreak tool and click Open and confirm that you wish to open it.
5. Click jailbreak and then wait.
6. You will see a message asking you to unlock your device and tap on the evasi0n 7. Perform as prompted.
7. If you have a passcode you might be asked to unlock your device one more time.
8. Evasi0n will give you a message that your device is successfully jailbroken. Click Exit on your computer.
9. Your iPhone or iPad might reboot a couple of times to complete the jailbreak process.
10. Cydia is now on your device.
Once the jailbreak is complete, you might want to pop into Cydia to update it. Although the file system will automatically update, there might be other updates that you wish to install. Apart from that, you are now good to go and enjoy your jailbroken device.
