In 2013, the Google Nexus 10 has disappeared from the Google Play Store. It was listed as "out of inventory" instead of out of stock. At the time, rumours said floating about a successor which will come alongside the Nexus 5 but it never arrived.

Since then, there were countless reports and rumors about a Nexus 10 2 to be developed by ASUS, Samsung and LG. But there were no concrete evidence and official statements from Google to confirm such news. It was rumored for release in last year's Black Friday, then followed by reports saying it will be launched at the CES 2014. Presently, there is no sign of the 10-inch Nexus tablet. Also, another image was leaked by the famed leakster @evleaks.

@evleaks is known for being accurate when it comes to leaks and rumors but added a warning label to the photo he released. Basically, it won't vouch for it but and it just merely aims to share the information. As such, we will be taking this with a grain of salt but we are not completely dismissing the idea that this could be the new Nexus 10, which will be produced by Samsung.

There is no mention of a "2" in the leaks, rather it was listed as the Nexus 10 by Samsung and the specs are notably impressive. The leaked image said this device will be running on Android 4.5 KitKat, although the latest version of Google OS is Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It is unlikely for an Android 4.5 to come anytime soon. An Android 4.4.3 is more likely to be seen instead.

In a nutshell, the leaked image is a poor press render and it could be fake. It is reported to have 10 inches 2560 x 1600 HD display, Samsung Exynos processor, 3GB of RAM, 5MP sensor rear camera, 3MP sensor front camera and it will come in 16 GB and 32 GB variants.

Unfortunately, there is no confirmation about official release date of the Nexus 10 2. Thus far, more details will emerge soon.
