Iggy Azalea Talks Breast Implants And Body Insecurities
Iggy Azalea admits to having her breasts done just four months ago. The Australian rapper said she wanted to get breast implants her entire life.
In an interview with Vogue, Iggy Azalea unabashedly admitted to writer Lynn Yaeger that her blooming looks these days are owed to her bigger boobs, which she got through breast implants. Lynn asked her what she plans to change about her body and she just blurted that tidbit out. Known more for her fancy-lookng butt, she said she decided to get implants so she does not have to wear pads onstage anymore.
Apart from saying it is an operation that she yearned for her entire life, she also shared that she developed a lot of insecurities after she got rejected by various modeling agencies. “When I first got to the States, people told me I should think about modeling,” she reminisced. “So I went to a few agencies, but once they measured my body, they didn’t like me anymore.” She shared that she was to lose weight and get a nose job if she wants to model. In general, she shared she was asked to change the way she perceive herself in the mirror and this made her feel bad.
She added that sharing about her breast implants is not something she planned. Instead, she planned the opposite — keep the enhancement a secret because she does not want other girls to think there is something wrong with their own bodies. She said she only shared this because she is not into “secret-keeping."
This is not the first time she opened up about her widely-talked about body. Last year, in an interview with the TJ show, Iggy clarified that her booty is not as fancy as people make it out to be. She said her butt looks that way because she wore two pairs of tights while onstage. She said the butt that people raved about may just be a “an optical illusion.” She said that she does not deny working out so she could be fitter, but warned girls about believing too much on what they see from the performers and then comparing themselves to the performers. She said performers have the help of “body makeup, tights and things” to make them look more fitter and thinner.
