Kate Hudson And Brother Oliver Lose Father's Love And Recognition, Might Also Lose Surname
Kate Hudson and brother Oliver were disowned by their own father. Bill Hudson now claimed he never wants to see them again after his children with ex Goldie Hawn, Oliver and Kate shamed him on Instagram on Father’s Day for “abandoning” them.
In a response to his eldest son Oliver’s Father Day Instagram, Bill Hudson said Oliver and Kate are now dead to him. It can be remembered that Oliver took to his Instagram on that fated day and posted a scathing post showing how much he still abhors his father for abandoning them. On his Instragram, he posted a picture of him and Kate as young children with Bill and captioned this with “Abandonment Day.” He directed the post to his sister, Kate.
"Almost Famous" star Kate added fuel to the fire by posting a picture of her with Goldie’s long-term love Kurt Russell, thanking him for being their father, greeting him a Happy Father’s Day and saying she loves him to the “moon and back.”
The father of five cannot let this go and said he does not consider Oliver and Kate his own kids anymore. In an interview, Bill Hudson claims that the diss of his eldest son was so hurtful that it felt like “a dagger to the heart.” He said that if his son’s intentions were to permanently remove him from their lives, then he “succeeded” because he does not want to his “eldest children” ever again either. He added that his relationships with his remaining three children, two with second wife Cindy Williams and one with his current partner. He stated on his interview that he is setting Oliver and Kate “free.” "I had five birth children but I now consider myself a father of three. I no longer recognize Oliver and Kate as my own," he allegedly said.
In addition to not recognising them as his children anymore, he reportedly wanted the two of them not to use his surname anymore since they are not part of his anymore. He also accused Goldie of poisoning Kate and Oliver against him.
Kate and mom Goldie are particularly close to each other. They can often be spotted hanging out or attending awarding events together. Goldie once said that as a mother, she “honours” her daughter Kate by just watching her grow as an individual, to let go and allow her to make mistakes instead of powering over.
