Kate Hudson Throws Joint Birthday Bash ‘Hot Mess’ With Jennifer Meyer And Derek Blasbery

Goldie Hawn’s daughter Kate Hudson celebrated with friends fashion writer Derek Blasberg, and jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer throwing a combined hot mess party for their birthdays at a private Los Angeles residence on April 26. Kate who turned 36 on April 19 was dressed in risqué ensemble for the party, according to E Online. Derek turned 33 on April 22 while their friend Jennifer Meyer, turned 38 on April 23. The party theme had all the girls wearing thick and smeared make-up.

The “Almost Famous” actress chose a trucker hat, biker boots, fur coat, fishnet tights, bikini top, and a skimpy dress with a flannel shirt tied around her waist for the fancy dress. Her neon pic top flattered her toned arms and torso and had cut out detailing. She flashed a bright pink manicure that clearly complemented her ensemble. A pair of white rimmed glares was tucked into her vest top while as carried a bright pink glass in hand. Blasberg posted a picture of his friends on Instagram. “Last night me and these lovely ladies had a threesome birthday party and the theme was 'Hot Mess' and none of us needed to go shopping for costumes,” he captioned the picture that showed Kate sticking out her tongue. Meyer on her part was dressed in a cashing leopard prints ensemble from head-to-toe.

Jessica accessorised her look with some chunky jewellery and carried a crossbody bag. Her long locks slicked back into a high ponytail and she was wearing calf-length boots to finish off her look. Derek also got into the party mood with his red polka dot shorts and shirt combo in satin.

Kate shared a picture of the three of them with her 1.1 million Instagram fans on April 24. Jennifer also shared the same picture of herself with Blasberg and Hudson on Instagram. She jokingly wrote that she in need to recover after the previous night’s party. Besides, the birthday party was not devoid of the cake, which had the pictures of all the three friends on it. The star guests who attended the “hot mess” do included Jessica Alba, Sara Foster and Meyer’s husband Toby Maguire. But, he was not seen in any of the pictures. Meanwhile, ex Matt Bellamy has moved on with model Elle Evans.
