A new snapshot has been released. This time dubbed the Snapshot 13w37b, and it now comes with the pre-released 1.6.3.

This is the third snapshot that has been updated, but it seems that Mojang is still taking any possible bugs that you may find.

A word of caution from the developers is that you should avoid running the snapshots on an existing world, as it can result in a number of errors.

"There is a known issue with world structures such as Nether Fortresses not transitioning to 1.7 from 1.6, but loading these areas in the new pre-release 1.6.3 and then going to snapshot 13w37b (or later) should fix this," wrote Nathan Adams, aka Dinnerbone, of Mojang regarding the new snapshot.

'Minecraft' Weekly News Feature Larger Ports

The "Minecraft" weekly news from mcspotlights of YouTube has gathered together all the latest bits and information happening for "Minecraft." One major thing to note is that the developers are also focusing on creating bigger portals.

"After a day of refactoring portal code, this is now possible," said Nathan Adams or @Dinnerbone in his Twitter account. In a nutshell, the developer was able to find a sensible solution to creating larger portals, with the portals hailing up to 23 blocks in height.

Another change that was mentioned in the update, and also by @Dinnerbone, include the ability to open the screenshot directly and right after saving it.
