More ‘FIFA 15’ Issues Found in Companion App And Luis Suarez Ban; A PS4 Physical Disc Bundle Spotted
For those who have started playing "FIFA 15," you may notice that Luis Suarez is missing from the lineup of FC Barcelona. This is due to the real-life suspension of the player after an incident involving Giorgio Chiellini of Juventus at the World Cup.
Eurogamer reports that Suarez has since then been banned from any activities related to football, and this involves "FIFA 15." A screenshot from the source reveals that searching those who are managing FC Barcelona will receive a note from the chief executive explaining that the suspension will last until Oct. 26.
The banning involves career mode in "FIFA 15," as you can still select Suarez in the Kick-Off mode, where he will be starting as a reserve. At the very least, this will only be a month's worth of suspension, and Suarez is expected to become a popular player choice once he becomes selectable in the title.
Companion App: A Bane And A Boon For Players
The companion app for "FIFA 15" has just landed on the Windows Phone. Ideally, the app is there for those who want to manage their teams while away from their consoles.
WPCentral has listed down the advantages given by the "FIFA 15" mobile app, which includes the following:
- Concept squads for planning a powerful squad
- Manage FIFA Ultimate Team using Players, Formations and Chemistry
- Find and bid on players on the FUT Transfer Market
- Sell players
- Purchas packs
- Access EA Sports Football Club Activity, News and Notifications
However, it's not all fun and games with the "FIFA 15" companion app as this also has problems like the game. Users of the app should have received three updates for it to be compatible with the game.
According to Product-Reviews, there's still the problem of a bug that prevents changes in the squad from being made or saved. There's also an error message that may appear saying "pop-up error server down." This can mean that even the companion app may still be a work in progress.
Physical Bundle For PS4 Introduced
After the fiasco with the Xbox One "FIFA 15" bundle, it appears that Sony is trying to offer a possible alternative for those who were disappointed by the long download time for the Xbox One version. The Games Cabin reports that Sony has now given the go signal for Tesco to sell the PS4 "FIFA 15" bundle with a physical copy of the game.
This allows players to get into the game in a shorter period of time without paying for additional fees or opting for a pricier bundle. It's a pretty smart move to take advantage of in the market, and it may be the first of Sony's countermoves in maintaining its lead in the console wars.
