The trusted source for upcoming and rumoured devices, @evleaks , has again come up with another leaked image, this time of the possible U.S. trim for the Nokia EOS.

The latest image suggests that it's the version groomed to come out for AT&T. What's interesting about the image is that it features a new software app, the Nokia Pro Cam, which means that it can either be an improved camera from the Lumia 925 Smart Camera or something that will be at par with the Lumia 925's touted best camera.

EndGadget reports that the Nokia Pro Cam app may actually be able to control the 41 million pixels in the 41-megapixel camera that's been rumoured to come out with the Nokia EOS.

Nokia EOS coming to the UK

According to a source interviewed by CNet, the Nokia EOS is already sure to head to the UK once it releases, though the prices and the release date are yet to be confirmed.

With its unveiling set to be on July 11, and judging by the timeline of the phone released before that, the Lumia 925, the report also suggests that an August release date may be possible, confirming the circulating release date rumours.

So it's called-?

Basically everything seems to be known about the upcoming EOS, from the breakthrough camera technology to even the rumoured specs that grace it with a hi-res display of 1280x768 pixel, capable of competing in the market today. But the name is still not known, even days before its expected unveiling.

There are currently three names that are circulating in the Internet. The first is the codename that was used way back, the Nokia EOS, which was only used as a peg name to refer to a new handset being launched by Nokia.

Then there were reports touting the Nokia Lumia 1020, which by iteration, is an improvement of the latest Lumia 920, and one that perhaps may consider the variations and features that were distributed to the Lumia 925 and Lumia 928.

Currently, My Nokia Blog reports that the device may actually called the Nokia 909. Though this moniker seems to have sprung out from nowhere, it is actually based on a tweet from @evleaks.

"New info pegs EOS not as the Lumia 1020, but: Nokia 909."

It seems that, instead of being an improvement on the latest Lumia series, it will be following the 41-megapixel toting Nokia 808.

My Nokia Blog reports that, while the camera may be among the most advanced that Nokia has ever released, the device itself is not above the previous Lumia series enough for it to be an improvement iteration of the Lumia phones.
