Nokia Lumia 1520 Price Cut: AT&T Lowers Windows Phone Phablet Price Offer from $ 199.99 to $99.99
The Nokia Lumia 1520 Windows Phone phablet is expected to arrive at AT&T on Friday, November 22, with online pre-orders available at $199.99 on-contract price. Now, the U.S. carrier has lowered the pre-order price of the Nokia Lumia 1520 to $99.99 with a two-year contract.
The recently unveiled Nokia device still has the same off-contract price of $584.99 or $27 per month for 20 months on AT&T's Next plan. Customers can choose from the available Nokia Lumia 1520 colour choices and they are black, white, red and yellow.
AT&T has not yet confirmed whether the new pricing scheme for the Nokia Lumia 1520 will be permanent or not. The pre-order page only displays the $100 price savings as an online discount as well as the message informing the customers that the Windows Phone phablet will be shipped out on November 19 with the delivery scheduled on November 22.
Additionally, pre-order for the Nokia Lumia 1520 Windows Phone phablet is available at the Microsoft Store with a price of $199.99 on a two-year contract together with vouchers worth $70 and a free copy of the Halo Spartan Assault.
The price cut on the Nokia Lumia 1520 will certainly attract the customers. It is the first Windows Phone phablet from the Finnish smartphone manufacturer and the device boasts with its 6-inch Full HD ClearBlack screen display having a 1920x1080p resolution, the power of a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, wireless charging feature and 3400mAh non-removable battery.
The available internal storage capacity in the Nokia Lumia 1520 is at 16GB of but users will be able to expand it up to 32GB through the microSD card slot. "The handset is expected to launch in the global market with 32GB storage, but the folks at Nokia mentioned that the 32GB version will be available on AT&T in the near future," the Geeky Gadgets report reads.
The Nokia phablet's camera features include the 20MP rear-facing camera with PureView technology, the matching Carl Zeiss optics found in the Nokia Lumia 10210 and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). Also integrated in the Nokia Lumia 1520 are the Microsoft Office, Nokia Music and Camera with superior settings and imaging features.
