Samsung previously offered the black or white colour options to their Samsung Galaxy smartphone range but the success of having more colour choices beginning urged the South Korean technology giant to do it again this time with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. Russian tech blog Hi-Tech.Mail.ru recently leaked images of the Galaxy S4 Mini version that shows 3 new colour options.

The three colour choices for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini even come with the catchy names of Blue Iceberg, Bronze Autumn and Scarlet Dawn in addition to the original colour options of White Frost and Black Mist. Samsung appears to have a grip on producing more colourful handsets nowadays to remain competitive in the tough market competition particularly with rival company Nokia that famously offers an array of bright coloured handsets to the consumers.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, which was officially announced in May 2013, is a compact version of its big brother Samsung Galaxy S4 and still packed with the familiar hardware even with the addition of colour choices. It features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen display with 960x540p resolution, 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM and an 8MP camera.

Additional features and specs include the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, Samsung's TouchWiz, compatibility with the 4G LTE networks and 8GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 64GB through the microSD card slot.

Regarding the availability of the new colour choices, it is anticipated to hit the smartphone market in a couple of weeks. Previous reports claimed that the new colours will appear during the August 26 week but no word has been given yet on the smartphone's availability.

No confirmation has been made as well on which markets and carriers will get hold of the new Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini colours or if the device will only be limited to selected retailers. Other reports suggest that the initial availability of the colourful Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be in the United Kingdom.
