"The Sims 4" may have its limitations as far as removed modes and features are concerned with the latest iteration, but that does not stop some of the more creative minds of its fans from making something great in the Sims world.

Ian Roach has shown off in his Imgur account some shots of scenes in the Sims world that may be very familiar to fans of the 90s hit comedy show "Friends." This is because the creator has recreated the world of Monica, Joey, Ross, Phoebe, Chandler and Rachel in "The Sims 4."

Seen in the gallery here, you can see Joey and Chandler's apartment in almost uncanny detail-down to their La-Z boys and flat screen TV. Central Perk, the favorite hangout place of the gang, has also been recreated. Ross's apartment, the one near his sister Monica's apartment also has a few shots. And of course, who will forget the memorable apartment of Monica, also recreated in full detail.

That's not the only TV show that has been recreated in "The Sims 4." PC Gamer has also spotted another work of Ian Roach, where this time, he recreated the world of "Seinfeld." Here, the customization tool that "The Sims 4" boasts for accurate looks for characters may have worked to the game's favor.

According to the report, the Sims counterpart of Julia Louis-Dreyfus looks a lot like her character Elaine, so that's a few points for "The Sims 4." Check out the screenshots in the link above.

However, even with all of these nice and good things that can be found and made in "The Sims 4," the future of the Sims franchise seems to be very much dependent on sales than anything else.

Cinema Blend has managed to compile some conversations between fans and "The Sims 4" producer Grant Rodiek, where fans have started to ponder on the future of The Sims as a franchise. However, it seems that a lot more is riding on "The Sims 4" as previously thought.

"We're not working on 'Sims 5.' We're not thinking about 'Sims 5.' If 'Sims 4' isn't successful, there won't be a 'Sims 5,'" Rodiek said in the forums as quoted by Cinema Blend.

Considering that there have been a number of features that have been removed, fans have voiced out their negative opinions of the title. But it should also be noted that there are a few other features that aim to revitalize and revamp the franchise.

The source also makes a good point in that there are not a lot of life simulator titles for console and PC, and there are other players who may be new to the franchise who may not even make the comparisons with old installments of the game.

It also helps that there are expansion packs planned post-launch, where EA and Maxis can still try to remedy the removed features to satisfy fans. In any case, "The Sims 4" has not yet even been a month old in retails, so fans should give it a chance first so the developers can see whether the franchise will continue.
