Queensland was hit by a supercell storm on Wednesday night, leaving homes without roofs. The towns of Bony Mountain, Pratten and areas near Warwick were struck by a storm, causing trees and power lines to fall.

In what seems to be a never-ending battle with racism, a 50-year-old woman harasses a schoolboy of Asian descent in a bus with verbal profanities. Both were passengers in a public bus and the video was taken by a fellow passenger who chose to be anonymous.

Pregnant Woman Injured in Tamahere Car Crash, Truck Driver Died in Separate Crash

Two car crashes in Wakaito resulted in one person's death while two others including a pregnant woman sustained injuries. A crash involving two vehicles was reported around 4:50am near Tamahere at the intersection between State Highway 1 and Cherry Lane. The Cambridge Road is now open to traffic after the vehicles have been cleared south of Hamilton.

Charges of child assault, criminal mistreatment and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence have been filed against American Tyler James Deutsch who has been accused of putting his 6-week-old baby daughter inside a 10° freezer for an hour, all in a horrendous attempt to stop the infant from crying. The 25-year old father pleaded not guilty to all charges. Bail has been set at a whopping US$1 million.
