‘Suicide Squad': Jared Leto Shares His Recent Joker 'Transformation'
Production details on “Suicide Squad” have been scarce but Jared Leto, who plays as The Joker, has been subtly giving hints to his character’s voice in a couple of his 30 Second To Mars shows in Russia. Now fans already have a clue as to how Joker would sound like in the film. But as for how Joker would look like still remains unknown. However, Jared recently gave fans a glimpse on his Joker “transformation” on his social media page.
Jared Leto shared a photo on his Instagram page teasing fans on how his version of The Joker in “Suicide Squad” would look like. He simply captioned it “Transformation begins” but has already gained 214 likes. User comments range from “awesome” to “can’t wait for this” and user koixf1sh thought the actor’s appearance in the photo will definitely “do Joker justice.”
It’s unclear what kind of transformation Jared Leto is about to undergo. But Comicbookmovie noticed the actor’s pale skin, which added with some green hair dye and cosmetic changes will reportedly already turn him into The Joker. Jared Leto may have chopped off his long hair for his “Suicide Squad” character, but Screenrant claimed it’s likely he will also wear a wig in the film.
There have been recent speculations that Jared Leto’s version of DC’s Clown Prince of Crime will take after the villain from “The Dark Knight Returns.” According to Screenrant, the actor’s recent photo somehow hints a resemblance to the “TDKR” character who is older, broader in physique but with effeminate mannerisms. Described as having bony facial features, sunken eyes and bare makeup, Screenrant claimed Jared Leto’s recent Instagram photo could very well already represent the character even sans makeup.
It’s still uncertain if “Suicide Squad” will take the “Dark Knight Returns” version of The Joker, but Jared Leto has also been hinting is likelihood. The actor once shared a Snapchat video where he filmed himself just basically spinning around. Before the video ended he opened his mouth as if to let out a silent wail. However, what’s interesting to note is the video’s background music, which is a soundtrack from “The Dark Knight Returns” entitled “See You In Hell.”
