Tom Holland is confirmed to have a cameo appearance in “Captain America: Civil War.” However, his latest Instagram post had fans wondering if he too will appear in David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad.” It also had fans speculating of a possible film location for the “Spider-Man” reboot.

The actor shared a photo on his Instagram page along with the caption, “What’s up Toronto!!!” His post has since received over five thousand likes since he shared it on Sunday, July 19. The photo also stirred speculations among commentators, including user dat_magic_man, that perhaps Spider-Man is in the country for the ongoing production of “Suicide Squad."

However, the likely chance of Peter Parker crossing over to “Suicide Squad” is slim. As pointed out by user dluckz15, Spider-Man is a Marvel character whereas Suicide Squad is with DC.

Other Instagram commentators, including sam_evans and jasonizer_art, also speculated that perhaps Tom Holland is in Toronto, Canada for his standalone film. However, Marvel and Sony is yet to reveal any production details on the “Spider-Man” reboot including the filming location.

Tom Holland has been using his Instagram to share with his followers the preparations he’s been doing for his role as the new Spider-Man. The 19-year old is apparently getting even more fit for his role. He shared his photo a week ago dressed in workout clothes. The actor captioned the image, “New glasses and it's time for the gym!!!”

The new Peter Parker star has also been practicing on his body flips, which would surely come handy in his role as the web crawler. In a trio of videos, Holland showcased his skill with the back flip, side flip and forward flip.

Details to Tom Holland’s cameo appearance in “Captain America: Civil War” is scarce. Whether he will have a major role to play is still uncertain since Variety said he will only be filming his scenes for about a week.

However, the young star is expected to share some scenes with two of the main casts, Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man/Tony Stark) and Chris Evans (Captain America/Steve Rogers). The Hollywood Reporter said Tom Holland did some screen tests with both actors to determine which among the Avengers he has the best on-screen chemistry with.
