Treyarch jots down improvements being made for PV version of ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’
Just recently, developer Treyarch conducted a beta test for the upcoming “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” The test was intended to pinpoint bugs in the game, and it seems the test was successful. Treyarch has revealed a list of the upcoming changes.
Revealed on the community blog of Treyarch is a list of changes for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3,” specifically for the PC version of the game. Treyarch notes that it will also make several changes to console versions based off of fan feedback from the beta.
“Yesterday, the studio began to share details about how the feedback from Beta participants has already begun to shape a better Day One experience for everyone. Today, we’d like to share a bit more information about what Beta feedback has begun to do, for the PC experience in particular,” said Cesar Stastny the Director of Development for Treyarch.
One of the big improvements for the upcoming title is an upgrade to the overall performance of the game on PCs. Apparently; some players noticed that the game runs slowly on their PC. Treyarch noted that it could be caused by the lack of performance optimizations but nevertheless, it will still look into the particular issue.
The players also took notice of the laggy crosshair for aiming but Treyarch says that it has already found a solution to the problem. This particular issue was not caused by poor connection. However, certain players had a hard time connecting to servers so Treyarch looked to fix connections as well.
Lastly, there were several reports wherein the game would crash of freeze unexpectedly. The developer has found this to be true and has since found a lot of issues which caused bugs. All of which are now fixed.
The list shows only a part of the changes being made to the final game on initial launch in Nov. 6 for all current and previous gen consoles, Dualshock reports. Treyarch notes that its aim is to provide a good initial launch experience for the game. Several games have suffered from faulty initial launches, most notable of which is “Batman: Arkham Knight” which is still broken up to now.
