Xbox One News: Price Cut at Zavvi to Boost Sales; Titanfall Footage Leaked from Closed Alpha; Massive Dead Rising 3 Patch Coming
One of the things that the PS4 was able to hold over the Xbox One is that it is the cheaper console. However, a recent price cut at Zavvi actually made Microsoft's next-gen console into a pretty appealing option for those who only had a problem with price for the console.
This happened in Europe, as the retailer took away £20 to pull it down to £409.99. According to Trusted Reviews, the price cut for the Xbox One may actually be caused by the new shipment after the short supply of the console at launch.
Of course, one has to remember that this is an initiative from online retailer Zavvi, and not a price cut from Microsoft officially. For now, Zavvi has not yet revealed how long it will hold the Xbox One price, but it's a good deal for those who don't want to spend more.

Titanfall footage leaked before alpha is done
As though the limited edition controller for Titanfall is not enough to show that a lot of people are waiting for it to debut on the Xbox One, there are already footage leaked from the closed alpha test of the game.
Earlier, access to Titanfall's alpha was granted to a few Xbox One users, and as expected, a few leaks still managed to find their way outside the game despite agreements.
Ausgamers managed to find one of the videos, which you can access via the link. What can be seen here is supposed to be a scene from the Domination mode. Respawn Entertainment, the developer behind the title, had responded to the positive reception of the alpha by extending the alpha test, and it seems like it is an exciting game of itself, reports Gearnuke.
There's still two months left on the calendar before Titanfall is released on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC come March 13.

Dead Rising 3 preps for 13GB patch
Though the fact that the 13GB may have already made a few Xbox One gamers lurch at the sheer size of the update, the developer of Dead Rising 3 may have justified the reason why the update is as such.
*Battlefield 4 stability patch for the Xbox One: Patch notes and details here.
Quoting an interview with Josh Bridge about the upcoming DLC, Broken Eagle, OXM reports that the update already has the Impulse Trigger support that lets you know when the gun is about to run out of ammo. That means a warning buzz will shoot up the right trigger so you can plan your next move before the hordes of the undead get you.
"It's not just about making a game and getting it out to them, it's about making sure they're still having a lot of fun even after it's out," said Josh Bridge, executive producer for the game.
The update also allows for picking up food and weapons which are together with other items. Property unlocks were also named as part of the update. Generally, there are various improvements expected with the massive Dead Rising 3 update, including stability issues.
