NBA News 2014 - Carmelo Anthony’s Short List: New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers

It’s down to five teams for the unrestricted free agent Carmelo Anthony and he’s set to make a decision by the second week of July. Reports say that while there is “currently no frontrunner for Anthony’s services” but is expected to meet with current team New York Knicks and suitors Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets.

FIFA World Cup 2014 Round of 16 Matches and Group Stage Final Results

The group stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup has been concluded and the 16 teams who will advance to the knockout stage have been decided. As expected, teams from the Americas have excelled with half of the qualifiers coming from North, Central and South America. Europe under-achieved with only six teams advancing out of a total of 13 spots. Asia came crashing out of the tournament with all four teams going out in the first stage. Africa still has two teams to represent the continent.
