Sony has run out of Xperia Z mobile phones even before it could make an official U.S. release. The Xperia Z price tag is marked $749 on MobiCity. The Xperia Tablet Z 16GB variant is available for pre-orders on the same shopping site.

Google Nexus 7 (7-inch, 1280 x 800p, 16GB) costs only $239 on Kogan. It was released in July 2012 as the first device to ship and run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
