83rd Oscars least-watched as viewers down by 10 percent

An estimated 37.6 million Americans tuned in to Sunday’s Oscar ceremony, representing a nearly 10 percent decrease to last year’s audience share. Citing the ratings data by Nielsen, Reuters said that the viewership was recorded at 41.7 million at last year’s Oscars with Avatar as among the enlisted nominees.
