Dell will be holding a New York event this coming Oct. According to reports, the event will likely be about the release of their 10.8 inch Windows 8.1 tablet. The expected new line of slates will include an 8-inch model powered by Intel Atom Bay Trail processor. As mentioned, it seems Dell does not want just 8-inch slates.
